This ready-to-smock bishop is made using premium Swiss satin striped voile in pale pink. The short sleeves have been finished with piping and binding.
The neck inside seam has been hand sewn closed. The inside cuff seams have been left open to allow embroidery to be sewn on the cuff. The side and back seams have been finished with French seams. There is a 10cm hem with 2x2.5cm growth tucks.
The back contains a sewn in placket with shortened binding on one side. This stops any overlap of the binding on the back of the neck, reducing bulk and creating a flat finish. The center front pleat valley has been marked with thread.
Buttons and snaps have not been sewn onto to the back neck to allow for freedom in deciding in how you would like it finished, and to choose buttons that match your smocking design.
Size 12 months
Length from the back of the neck to hem is 41cm (16").
The fabric has been pre-washed.
